Help Can Be Found for SugarCRM in the Wiki.

Hello everyone,

Both old and new users of SugarCRM always ask questions by saying I searched the forums. Often the very question they are asking about can be found in the Wiki. The Wiki is only a few months old. Many people do not know of its existance or that it has content that is in a constant state of improvment and additions. Checkout the main page here.

You will notice 4 main areas on the main page Sugar Support Wiki, Sugar Developer Wiki, Sugar Docs and Sugar University. The Sugar Support Wiki is where Users and Administrators would go for documentation related to them. The Sugar Developer Wiki is where developers and those wanting to develop for SugarCRM. Sugar Docs provide the official SugarCRM Documentaion. Sugar University is where instructor led courses and reference materials for courcse work.

Nice resource, but doesn't contain the answer to why fields disappear from staging area when removed from the layout panel in Studio or how to restore them that I can find................

As nearly as I can tell I am losing staging area fields with no action .................. of particular interest is my lead panel edit view that contains only about half of the available fields while the detail and list views contain all the fields either on the panel or in the staging area..............

If you can help with this, I'd be very grateful.......... all I need to do is restore all fields to the staging area.

the support wiki has no real answers , for problem solving , with the forum and there members help there would be a lot of problems for users , and i think it would lead to closing down sugar crm as a good software, the help function is only the forum members and they are very good.

I just need to know something very simple, after adding the Teams module, how do i associate users to teams, the current help files don't answer this question, goodness knows why!

Hi there,

I've looked for help there many times but I always go back to the forum because Wiki doesn't offer
answers must of the times to MY questions, I always get a message saying that the search results
found nothing about what I'm looking for or the pages found don't really help.

I think this site needs improvement, I'm talking about it's lack of contents, I say this because I've never
gotten any real help from there!!!

I think the forum is the best place to go to get answers to your questions so far though sometimes you
don't get an answer that helps you solve your issues.

I have followed the Wiki suggestions to a T and still getting the same white blank screen!! It shows me the first intro screeen takes me to the license screen I agree, and then goes blank.

I edited all the files, made sure I had mbstring installed, did it via yum,

Can anyone please help ?????
