help with Convert Leads

I am using the CE and having trouble editing the Convert Leads screen. There doesn't appear to be a place in the Leads layout as the manual suggests.

Also, I would like to make contacts and opportunities required and make Accounts not required. We are a B2C business and this would work best for us.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

In CE you need to manually edit the script custom/modules/Leads/metadata/convertleaddefs.php
In commercial flavors you can edit the layout in Studio.

In order to make Contacts and Opportunities required and Accounts not required you also need to accomplish customizations in Opportunities, once, by default, Opportunities require Accounts.
