Help on Custom Aging Field Tutorial

Hello all,
I using the community version of Sugar (SugarCE-Full-5.0.0d) and was following the Custom Aging Field tutorial:

But for the love of God, I just cannot get it to work. I believe I have followed this short tutorial very closely and the files and directories are all place. But the “Days Old” just does not appear in the Leads > Layouts > Detail View. Am I supposed to add it manually through the Studio?

Has anyone else managed to get this to work?

Any tips or advice will help save my sanity.

P.S I am very new to Sugar and not the most technical, but I would like to think that I can follow the instructions.
