Help! Dashlet Delima

I entered a Google Gmail address into the Web Dashlet and now as soon as I access my Home page it immediately goes to the Gmail login screen and goes full screen. I cannot access any other dashlet, see any other information and cannot figure out how to reset or delete this particular dashlet. I have administrator rights. I am using Sugar Comunnity Edition 6.0,3 Build 4339 Thank you very much.

Hello -

I came looking to the Forums for this very same thing. Using Sugar CE 5.5.1. A user added a "My Sites" dashlet and then edited it to use a specific URL.

When the dashlet appears on the screen, the web site is displayed and then, all of a sudden, the web site goes full screen - making Sugar disappear. We try over and over to get back but every time the dashlet URL takes over and goes full screen, removing Sugar.

We've tried clicking on something really fast on the Sugar home page to make things stop but it doesn't work. We have positioned the cursor/pointer on the "X" over that dashlet and clicked it as the page is loading. We get the Sugar message, "Are you sure you want to remove this dashlet?" and we say "Yes". The second we do, again the URL in the dashlet takes over and Sugar disappears.

If no one has an answer to this, can you at least point us to the location where the URL for this dashlet for this user is stored so that we can clear it?

im having the same problem. any fixes? i cant get into sugar now!

I dont know if this will work for the gmail cases listed above but i may have found a possible fix (athough not a very good one).

For me the sugarcrm site was redirecting to a "web page not found" after i created a webpage dashlet but didnt add a url when i created it. Sugarcrm flashed for a moment then i get the error page. Since i could not access sugar, i could not delete the dashlet causing the problem.

However i discovered i was able to still access sugar with firefox which allowed me to delete the dashlet. But even after that, explorer was still effectively locking me out of sugar. The only fix after deleting the dashlet in firefox was to reset explorer back to factory default, which then allowed me back into sugar. like i said not a great solution but it did work.

However if you cant get into sugar in firefox too, then I dont know how you will be able to fix this, other than scrapping your website and starting from scratch? and being very careful what you enter into the webpage dashlets from now on?

This is a rather major bug in my opinion.
