Help with filtering Accounts List View by Default

Hi,

This is my question.

I have 627 Teams that are Automatically created,updated etc every month
I have over 17000 Accounts in the System

Team-Accounts relationship is based on job code (type of work done for the Account)

When an an Account has no job code or one that is not in use the Global team is assigned untill someone starts a new job..

In my CRM I have approx 7000+ Accounts with the Team Global, so when I go to the Accounts module in the listview of the Accounts it will show the all Accounts for the TEams I am a member of and all the Accounts for the Global Team

How can I have it filter out all Accounts with the Global Team by default?

So when I go int othe Accounts List view it will not have any Accounts with assigned team = Global, but if I need to find one I can just do a Search by Name,Number etc.

You need to create a custom view.list.php for Accounts module.
Inside the function display you need to add the team_id field into $_REQUEST if the search is empty.

Is there a template to work from, the deault view.list.php for the Accounts module I've looked and there isn't? I see that Project, Activities, Home, Calender have one, can I copy and edit them?

Hi,

I've copied over the view.list.php from the projects into the /custom/module/Accounts/views/

I've made basic changes so now I have the same list view for Accounts as Default. Wherer in this file can I edit it to say only show Accounts that are NOT assigned the Global team.

A line number, would do there are some many lines of code in the function display, I don't know where to start
