Help, with instal on Windows....

I am abou to lose my bloddy mind.

I have dont this WHOLE process twice and cannot get CRM to even BEGIN to install.

IIS with PHP,ISAPI, no problems there done it a hundred times, set all vars as stated on the Wiki.

MSSQL 2005. All good (Tried BOTH Express and the Default Install)

Basically what happens is when I go throught the first 2 pages of the install when I get to the final step NOTHING, NADA BLANK

It creates no tables, no database, nothin, config is 0 bytes and Im frustrated as hell.

I have completley done this from scratch twice, and to no avail.

I saw this about a year ago when I tried it under windows , and eventually gave up and installed it on linux,with no problems.

I cannot do that this time,

there is no log file NOTHING....I can find...

Can someone help ?

Could this be because I am using PHP 5 ?????

Just in case anyone want to know, it IIS , On XP, with SQL 2005 Running Php 5.1.6

Ok, one last item.

Where it dies is the page after "Site Configuration" where you set the URL and the Updates Config Etc.

The Local screen is what comes up blank, nothing, nada, LOTS OF WHITE

Hellppppppp please...Im gonna start drooling in a few and...ughhh,, or maybe curling up in a fetal position will help....

Your PHP version is fine, that is a recommended config according to the install guide.

Unfortunately I am beginning to think that IIS is not great for running Sugar on, it seems that it is not really the supported web server (despite sugar's joint program with MS, I guess that only extends to SQL Server).

If I were you I would be looking for log files (sugarcrm.log and IIS logs) and see if there are any clues there.

Turn on error reporting (E_ALL) and display errors, and hopefully that white screen will instead show you what happened. If not, it may be that the web server is crashing.
