    Default Help with List View

    Sugar OpenSource 4.5.1e (Build 1049)
    MySQL 4.1.20
    PHP 4.3.11
    Linux (CentOS 4)

I cannot modify what columns are showing on the Cases list view. I have added and removed columns previously without issue. I HAVE had to do the "Go to advanced search and click on search to make your changes show-up" trick before, and I remember that it worked on one occasion. However, no matter how many columns I remove or add, the current list view for cases remains unchanged. It's like it's stuck.

I CAN change the list view for other things such as how cases show up in a list under accounts, or how the project list view appears. My changes also seem to "take" for custom lists. Making custom fields available to add on the cases dashlet is working.

When I add things to or remove things from the list view in Studio, then save and publish those changes, /var/www/html/sugar/modules/Cases/metadata/listviewdefs.php does not get updated. Should it? I'm pretty sure it's not a permissions issue; I've been checking, double-checking, and triple-checking to make sure of this. I can't figure out what is broken. What makes it even harder to troubleshoot is knowing that it used to work fine.

To my knowledge, nothing has changed on the server. Does anyone have any ideas? Just a place to start looking would satisfy me. Thanks!

We made our changes in the /custom/ folder, not the main /module folder.
I can't wait until we can over-ride ALL VIEWS in the meta data.

Does this happen for all users? What happens if you click Clear on the search form (instead of Search)?

Angel -- Clicking on Clear did it! Very strange behavior. Now I just need to figure out why the column for "Assigned User" is showing me the UID instead of their login name. I'll work on that now.

    Thanks!!!
