Help with logo and contacts category

Hi!

I'm new to Sugar and was trying to figure out a few things:

Firstly, I'm uploading our logo in Admin>System Settings and can't seem to make it show in the top-left corner. It shows only a broken link image. I've tried different formats (both jpg and png) plus different sizes also. Any ideas how to make it work?

Secondly, I'd like to add categories to our contacts. How's the best way to do it? I've tried Admin>Studio but the fields I've created doesn't show up when I create a new contact. Again, any ideas?

I'm using Sugar 6.1.4 by the way.

Check if you have correct permissions on cache/xml folder and custom/themes/default/images.

You need to put those newly created custom fields in edit and detail view from Studio > Contacts > Layout > Edit View and Studio > Contacts > Layout > Detail View.

Thanks for the input. I've managed to changed the fields, thanks, but with regards to the logo I've checked the permission (all 777) and still couldn't see it up. Still shows the broken link image. Any more suggestions?

Hello,

Install firebug in firefox and see check out the path of that broken image, and see if the image exists in specified path, and have good permission?

Thanks very much David! I've changed the permissions in themes and default and it worked. Now I was wondering if there was a way to get it bigger? Is it possible? Our logo is more like a square and it looks very small using the recommended size (212x40).
