Arrow help!! lost phpmyadmin password, can't do backup!

    hello,
I'm trying to do a backup from a bitrock installer sugarcrm on linux.

I know the admin password to get into sugarcrm, but when i try to get into the phpmyadmin I don't know the password.
I know the login - administrator.
I looked on the user file and I see the administrator user, but the password is all mixed up. I think it's hashed.
I have no idea what the password is.

Also, when I try to use mysql from the command line that doesn't work either!

this isn't a regular install. the apache runs on port 8888. I have no idea what port mysql is on, but i'm guessing it's not the usual one.

So, can anyone give me any ideas on getting in from phpmyadmin or commandline to get a backup?

    Thanks,

    Oskar

Not familar with bitrock but if you look for a file called 'config.inc.php' you will find your phpMyAdmin password in it, usually.
