Help me about Employee & User

I don't know exactly what the role of employee and user function. When you create user, you will create employee too. User can login to SugarCRM interface, but employee is not and do not use SugarCRM. So, why do we need employee?

Hi, luong.

The Employees module is used to manage the employees in your company.
Think employee as an instance of user without all e-mail, tabs, localization and other user preferences.

Yes, Andre is correct. Here at Sugar, we use the Employees area as a quick lookup if you need to find someone's phone extension or cell phone number.
