Help, My Dropdown Editor is not saving changes

I have just installed Sugar CRM to a virtual dedicated server (hosted by godady)
and I can't get any edits to save after the save button is clicked.

I do not have much experience with the "back end" of servers and web sites etc

is there anybody who can walk me through this?

also when I run a diagnostic, I get this error. Are the two issues related?

You most likely have a file permissions issues on your backend server. The followin Wiki Article should explain what needs to be done.

Note: I have found this problem with multiple links in this forum.

It seems like an update occurred. Links now default to SugarCRM Knowledge Base.

It would have been nice if SugarCRM would have archived the old list prior to migration.
