HELP!! Need help entering contacts

Ok, I am brand new to Sugar CRM and I am trying to get contacts from a database called CapitalIQ into Sugar CRM. Basicaly CapitalIQ will export into an excel format but when I try to upload them to Sugar it comes out all funky. I know it needs to be comma delimited but I am having major trouble with this. And it will be impossible to add the contacts/accounts one by one. Anyone have any suggestions please!! Thanks.

Try to export as csv format and try to import the date using import option.
