Thanks for any assistance. I am running SugarCE 6.0.1. I am attempting to setup our client services on Sugar to use for all of their cases. There is something I am missing or CE can't do this out of the box. And I have read all the documentation and searched the forums.
Current scenario
1) Our client services has 3 divisions and 3 mailing list addresses in which a case is sent to that e-mail list address and everyone gets a copy of it. Someone then claims it and starts the e-mail chain.
What I've tried/accomplished
1) Setup the cron to run successfully to monitor inbound e-mails.
2) Tested out the case creation when creating a group folder and it created cases based upon all of my mail currently in my inbox. Not really what I was expecting but only new e-mails.
3) I can setup a "group" email. I subscribed a test user to that folder and only my account (admin) is seeing the cases. The e-mails also strangely went to my inbox and not into the group folder. Unless my inbox is serving as the group folder?
My question is how can I assign users to the group folder and how can I get them to see incoming e-mail from the list. I also was curious if I could disable the Round Robin/Least Case option so all it does is create cases without assigning a user but the group can see it. This might actually be the workaround for above. At a loss right now and just trying different things.
