Help - Problem with Searching for Documents in 5.0b CE

It appears that the search function in Documents Tabs tries to match the beginning of the string. I was hoping to change the query of the search for searching documents to be a LIKE SQL statement. Is there anyway to do this?

I would prefer modify the query than implement a 3rd party solution for my client.

I am running CE 5.0b on Linux / Apache / mySQL

Any help or thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated.
