Help with relationships

I created a module called "Debts" I want to add various credit cards, mortgages, etc...for a specific contact. How do I do the "relationships" in studio? Do I goto the Contacts in studio and relate it to the debts on a 1 to 1 basis or do I relate it on the debts module? I just haven't grasped the whole relationship thing yet. Please help point me in the right direction.

I want a subpanel under contacts for debts.... For example.....I am in the contact record for John Doe.....I want to be able to see all of the debts that belong to John Doe. I don't need to see the contacts in the debts.

I am creating a module called Debts and I need to be able to put all different debts in it, such as Credit cards, Mortgages, Car Loans etc...

I am use to Goldmine where everything is focused around the contact record.

If I create a module called Debts, I assume that I can hide the tab but there will be a subpanel for Debts.....is this correct?

In module builder, goto your debts module and goto relationships

set the relationship as one to one and the module it's related to as Contacts

No.

If you hide the module it won't be available ... use Roles to define what modules are available to which users
