Help with saving changes?

Hiya

i am new to sugar and i have went and made changes to the layout/fileds/labels in the lead section and when i click save and depoly it only made a few changes and in some sections it hasnt left any where for you to enter any information?

i have re done the process a few time now but i am not getting any futher

Hello g.davidson,

I guess you are using Studio. If you want to create fields where you can enter information, first you have to create a new field, and then edit the editview in order to the new field be visible.

You should edit the detailview to see the new field with its value.
