HELP TEXT causes javascript error on required field when create

Hi,

I have a required field with Help Text: "Valid " + field name. Then I can not save because of an javascript error.
I tried the same on 6.2, on Account name, it happened also. Is it a key word for Sugar ?

I tried it but it works for me. Maybe I did it a bit different then you.

Could you tell us what exactly you did (screenshot of the field settings?) ? What is the error message you get ?

I tried again on Account name by Studio, but still not work. Here is the screenshot.

I did it exactly as in your screenshot and had no problem to save the changes.
The test installation I used: CE Version 6.2.0beta3 (Build 6247)

Do you have the problem only for special values in the help text field or is it a general problem when saving field definitions?

Sorry for my explain not clear, my problem is after save the changes in Studio, I can not create new record anymore. In the example above, I can not create account. For now, I just avoid using Help Text. Anyway, it is not a big problem. Thanks for reply.

I have a similar problem that I cannot do changes with Studio sometimes when using a newer Firefox (as far as I know Sugar 6.2 uses a library that is not 100% FF-compatible). The save-button in Studio does not do anything in that case. With Google Chrome it's ok.
The full support of Firefox >= 4 in SugarCRM is announced for one of the next releases.
