HELP, urgently needed. Sugar not compiling, after attempting Zucker commit!

Am running Sugar 4.5.1 on Apache2 with PHP 4.1 and MySQL 5.1 on Fedora Core 5.

My production version of SugarCRM OS was running beautifully, till i tried to install the Zucker reports module. It failed to continue after it failing to write to the include/images/ folder. Changed the permisions of that folder to 777, to facilitate the install.

Now, suddenly, all i get is a blank screen when i load the Sugar site, even after a reboot, and reverting to default permissions. The page source (as seen from a browser) is empty, despite all the other sites on that server running as normal.

Only thing unusual about my php.ini file is the max post and max_upload directives, which are set to 20M (again to facilitate Zucker!)

Again... Please help, people.

We all have those days my friend! Trust me, I've got a million and one of them (those days I feel like an incompetant idiot for not thinking of the obvious)..

Anyways, my interpretation of the thread and your post, is well...the opposite of what you'd assume..

I think it speaks loads to just how COMPETANT you ARE!!
Not only did you resolve and fix your problem(s) all on your own!
But you did such in less than a few hours, and I DON'T consider that "ignorance" in my book!

You might also consider sharing details of the cause of your problem(s), for others that might find themselves in the same boat or a similar situation in which they are experiencing similar or identical troubles..

Sure..

After changing the permissions, index.php could not get hold of entryPoint.php in the includes directory (in the manner to which it was accustomed, i guess). So eventually, I recursively changed permissions of include folder to 766.

No prob after that,

Ahh, permissions...

An all too common of a culprit...
Glad to hear that you got it resolved pretty quickly and downtime was very little..
