Help with Webform re: affiliate marketing

Hey guys,

Im a new sugar crm user.

We were originally generating leads that all went straight into Aweber for use of their autoresponder and lead tracking.

Somehow Aweber is able to provide us with the affiliates referrer link and the ipaddress of the originating lead. Also the city, country that the lead is coming from.

example:

consumer clicks the affiliate link to get to our landing page:
http://www.oursitename.com/landingpage/?abc=12345 (12345 is the affiliates id)

out real landing page url is:
http://www.oursitename.com/landingpage

Anyone know how how i can get sugar to grab this information into sugarcrm?

Thanks for any help, been stuck on this for days. I just need to know which affiliates are generating the leads that come through.

Hello bkhills,

I would assume that somewhere within your Aweber account, you should be able to export all the data (referrer link, city, ip address etc) into a csv or excel document. You could create these custom fields within Sugar if they do not exist already and then import this data via the import tool in Sugar to the appropriate module.

Hello sir,

yes, we were already able to upload the existing data.

The problem now is that i want to eliminate aweber and use sugar for the autoresponder and from this point fwd grab all that data into sugar as well.

We have the form down with all the information but how to continue to grab all the originating lead data as well?
