Hiding Account, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities from other users

Hi Sugar users,

I'm wanting to create "Private" records so I can have my own prospects and not have other users (except the Administrator) see my records.

How can I do this in 5.0g?

Do you mean like if User A will create a new contact. User A won't be seeing the client's of User B? I think, it's working that way on the contact dashlets but not in the contact module list.

Option 1: Use the roles to restrict access to records just to the owner (assigned user id)
Option 2: Download and install the Team Security available in the Sugar Forge.

Hi,

We are using GNU General Public License version 3 and would like to do the same thing as stated in this thread.

to hide a group of contacts from everyone else apart from one or two users.

is this possible?
