Hiding tabs

I want to add the links to certain modules in a subpanel and then want to hide those tabs in SugarCRM.
I know, we can hide tabs from Administration panel: Configre Tabs.

But if we do this, the module will also be hidden from the subpanel, while we need those sub-panel.

Can anyone help me out..

we have the same problem. We have lots of submodules but don't need the tabs. What we did was stack them on the right hand side of the tabs so that they are hidden away in the popup button ">>"
