Hierarchy teams

Hi and hello,

I'm a newbie, trying to get through to sugarce.
I've installed the Team security suite and want to realize thefollowing:

team 1
team 1_1
team 1_2
team 2

- team 1_1 sees only contacts within its group -OK so far
- team 1 sees team 1 AND team 1_1 entries - no idea so far

I would like to add a group within a group ....

Any ideas! Would be great!

Groups within a group is not supported at this time. It just adds too much performance overhead to make it work yet. Instead, you have to add the users to each group.

we looked at reports-to but decided to go with simple teams. it adds admin but so easy to know what's going on.
say you have team 1, team 2 and team 3.
your bottom level user A will have access to team 1;
bottom level user B will have access to team 2 and team 1
bottom level user C will have access to team 3
the top user ZZ will have team 1 and team 2 and team 3
and some middle level user MM will have team 1 and 3.
also it can apply to the regions and sectors etc
