History subpanel in Targets module

how to add the history subpanel to targets module?
I can assign calls, meetings etc.. to targets however there is no subpanel in the target detail view screen for history to view them.

Also how to assign notes/attachment to target..

Easy task ... buld the relaitonships to the activities you are looking for and add the subpanels.

The issue is the Calls, Meetings activities already have a "Related to" field for Targets. Once we relate to the target it does get assigned however since there is no subpanel in Targets Module the calls, meetings do not show up.

According to your suggestion a new Relate field gets added on the Call activities screen.

I would not create an additonal relate filed but add target to the options in the Parent Type (can be done in the customs area so you are upgrade save). Then in the targets module you need to create the links accordingly (look at e.g. Contacts how it is done there - can also be accomplished in the custom section) and then add the history and activities subpanel collection (again as layoutdefs in the custom area). So all you need to do here is also fine in case of a future upgrade.

Just did this for another occasion with a custom module and it works like a charm (only the notes are a pain ... they have a custom function to set the values for the parent types. This you need to hack - ugly but necessary.

Which source files to work on customizing to acheive this?
Should've been a simpler way..

the corresponding language file extension for the addition of Targets to the Parent_Types, the vardefs for the targets module to define the links the subpanel needs as data source, the layoutdefs for adding the activity and history subpanel.
