Default Home Module in 6.1.2 CE

I am trying to setup SugarCRM for the first time. When i look at the documentation, it says that there should be a HOME module that I can modify in order to change the way the home page looks. When I go to Admin->Studio, I do not see a HOME module. Where can I access this module in order to modify it? Thanks for the help.

The home module is on the frontpage of sugar, and has a add dashlet button on the top right corner and x buttons to remove dashlets you added. No need to go to admin, or studio.

Thank you for the help. So, the changes I make as admin will appear for all users the same as I see in admin or will they be able to customize it, as well? I am trying to have a consistent look for all users.

    I do appreciate the info.

    Hi

Using sugar6.2 and trying to achieve the same thing ... manage/admin the home page tab of all users to have a consistent view.

I haven't figured out a way to do it, did you? tried the kbrill: Homepage manager - I couldn't get it to work for me and am now looking for an alternative that I can get to work

    Regards

    Hi,

for others reading this post ... Got the kbrill: Homepage manager working, (or at least he did over a skype call) My issue was becaue I am using a MSSQL DB.

    Its a great Homepage manager

SugarForge: Ken Brill: HomePage Manager: Project Info

If you are using Homepage manager with MSSQL DB. And can't get in touch with Ken himself - let me know I'll pass on the fix I have.

    Alan.
