I'm trying to setup SugarCRM for a client database. The client currently has a hosted/shared web server and their IT firm has asked me to verify if this application will run in a hosted/shared server environment or will in need to be on a dedicated (or virtual dedicated) server. They have also asked if it will require any applications other than mySQL and PHP.

Being a marketer and not a programmer, I wasn't sure how to determine this. Can anyone answer this question?

Also, in general will this database be easy for a non-technical person to setup. I've previously setup online hosted databases such as Salesforce, but haven't been down this road before.

I appreciate any thoughts/information.
