Default hosting on a Xen server

    Hi

We arelooking at ways we can host SugarCRM locally (since bandwidth is such a issue where we are) and one of our options is to use a Xen server.

Has anyone hosted Sugar on a Xen server yet? We will only be about 8 users on the system, not very active.

    RAM options: 64Mb, 128 Mb, 512 Mb

Yes, I know more is better - but we can just about afford the 128 option.

    Thanks

bandwidth in SA is quite limited, specialy broadband - adsl with 3GB cap costs about $100 per month. We are a startup and want to save costs as much as possible

If you want to run it on xen, you need a pre-working linux distribution before installing xen, so unless you have a specific reason to host it in xen vm, you can just install sugar on the core server especially if you have a memory issue as you are describing.

Why couldn't you just host it in the states where it's cheap?
