How to Access it from Internet ?

hi all,

i have just downloaded and installed the sugarcrm. - Bitrock Windows Installer
i have a problems, after finished the installation,

the server point to 127.0.0.1 localhost address. I have created the domain to host this sugarcrm, but whenever i typed my domain name, it will go back to localhost access.

End up i cannot access it online.

So how can i solve this issue ?

Hi,

Open your config.php file. Change the variable "site_url" to your IP address. Potentially you also need to change the hostname, but here I am not sure. Give it a try.

you will need to first.. know your external ip.. you can go to www.whatismyip.com and then log into your router and on the DMZ add your server ip there so you can access it from the internet... put your external ip on the web browser and thats it... hope it works for you.. it did for me...

Yeah. You don't have to change the site_url though it is good practice. But make sure you open your server port in the DSL router.

THere are so many config.php file - which file i shd open and edit on it.

i have open up my router on port 80 and dmz.
