Default how to adapt sugarcrm to manage somehow a telemarketing campaign

    Dear Sugar users,
I'm trying to think of a way to add a telemarketing campaign for SugarCRM. I've searched the forum and it looks like it's not possible to do it with Sugar, things like creating a telemarketing campaign, add lead's with no emails and phone numbers and have some people managing those outbound calls, scheduling new calls after first ones are made, etc.

Is there a way to customize Sugar for this matter? Anybody has done something related to Telemarketing campaigns so that I can somehow manage that? I'm also looking for some developer to help me do this and customize a bit Sugar.

Looking forward to your answers. Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Alfonso

Sugar, out of the box, is capable of doing almost all of the above..
It's a combination of: Campaigns, Target Lists, Targets, and Leads.

As for *required* fields, going from memory, I think a persons Name is/was the only required field. So you should have no problems in regards to entering phone numbers but not entering emails, etc.

However, should you want to change which fields are required or are not required [anywhere throughout SugarCRM], it's an easy modification.

I'm also interested in this. In the past I have written telemarketing applications. However, those days are behind me and I really don't want to write another add on. In addition to creating/managing a list, I would love to see a dialer(TAPI) popup when a telephone number is clicked and an entry made somewhere to indicate call statistics. I would also like a report/view to let me know the statistics of my telesales people for management purposes. If anyone has developed a good procedure for using Sugar in a telemarketing mode please leave us a note.

Pop-up and statistics (call logging) is already implemented in Pacta Call Center SugarCRM Plug-in
