Also is there a way to make campaign a required field during lead entry and edit?

This is an awesome overview of vardefs.php and tells you how to edit vardefs to control massupdate

Thanks for the link. I'm pretty good with the vardefs, however it seems that massupdate=>true on both Campaigns and Leads doesn't do the trick. Is this all that should be required?
