How To Add "Company" Function???

I've been trying for the past hour to meander through Sugars endless options, I'm trying to do something quite simple, add the option of displaying a "Company" field within Contacts and Leads. I have successfully "Created" a company field in studio, but it does not show up in the actual tab for contacts or leads. At this point I have tried so many things I don't know where I started. What is the process for this (I'm guessing?) easy task; preferably from start to finish? Thanks much.

The Contact module already has a relationship with the Account module (which would be used to records companies). If you want a different custom field to be available you need to 1) Add the field in the studio for the Contacts module. 2) Modify the different layouts (Edit, Detil, List) to include the field that you created.
