Hi again, just installed sugar on my own pc running xp pro and can't figure out how to add my own drop down menus (I have searched the forum). I was working with the linux version before so I know the versions differ. I presumed it'd be in the toolbox area but all I see there are fields. Also is there anyway to turn off the studio wizard in the windows version or is this the standard? way of editing layouts etc. Okay here are the stats:

    OS: Windows XP Pro
Sugar Version: Version 4.5.0f (Build 1202)
Webserver type and version: Apache 2.2.3
PHP Version: 5.1.6.6 (is this a problem? was told it wasn't supported on install but it was green)
    MySQL server version: 5.0.27

EDIT: Sorry 'bout that guys, just figured it out. Is there anyway to delete your posts here? Mike

Its under the admin studio section. You can create your own custom drop downs and then create a custom field that links to the drop down. You also can use the existing drop downs and rename if you want.

I would HIGHLY recommend that you map out your process/work flow and see how it matches up with the default features/flow of Sugar. For instance, if you create a custom drop down that is similar to the sales_stage_dom dropdown, it wont link to some of the dashlets and reporting features without radical customization. In that case renaming the sales stages would be more prudent. Just make sure you know what you want to accomplish first.

Thanks for the advice Tom, I'll keep that in mind. I figured out how to add the drop down menus just after I made the post. D'oh!
