How to add "History" subpanel

Hi,

I created a custom module to keep our Vendor contact info. I would like to be able to attach notes, etc., like we can see on the Accounts module with the History subpanel.

How can I add that to my new Vendor panel?

Hi Carrie,

What version are you using ?
You can copy the history subpanel code from Accounts/metadeta/subpaneldefs.php to a similar PHP file in your Vendor/metadata/subpaneldefs.php file.
You will also have to customize the notes subpanel so that it links to your Vendor.

Hi - I am using the newest version of Sugar.

How exactly would I have to customize it to make it work?

I can copy paste but am not very good at figuring out how to do it all on the fly. I'm just a secretary - not a coder.
