How to add Many to many relation field in search form

I am Drupal Programmer and new to SugarCRM, There is many to many relationiship between accounts and subcategory (custom module). Sub Categories are being displayed prefectly as sub panel in the account detail page and vice versa , i want to filter account search form on the basis of Sub category so for this i need to know how to add sub category field in Basic and Advance search of Account.

You cannot do this using Studio ... you can filter the new module results from it's own search but not from Accounts search (using Studio)

So is there a coding-based solution? I am building multiple modules to replace the accounts module, and need to be able to add contacts/leads that are related to these modules to target lists.
