How to add translation after installing new module?

Hi,

I just installed an invoice module (jcrminvoice), it works great in english but when I switched to the german language the invoice and time menu is blank.

I tried going to admin > studio > rename tabs but the interface is too confusing, I may have accidentally removed the 'Time' translation in english!

Is this the proper way? I'm trying to add just a simple 'Invoice' translation since it's not available in german while browsing around the tab renaming tool...

If you wouldn't do that by the studio, you can edit modules\your_module\language\your_language.php and custom\include\language\your_language.php

I just edited module/language and it emptied out every translation except for my new ones. So I edited instead include/language/
