Default how to assign bugs to account

When creating bug, how do I assign it to a particular account? When I open the account, click "Create" on the Bugs subpanel, the bug is associated with that particular account. However, when I use the Full Form, or Create bug using Bug Tracker -> Create Bug, there's no option to associate to an account.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

There are a couple of ways you can do this:

    1. When viewing the Bug in DetailView mode, click "Select" on the "Accounts" sub panel and choose the appropriate account from the list.

    2. If you are viewing an account in DetailView mode, clicking "Select" on the "Bugs" sub panel will allow you to pick a bug to assign to the account.

    Thanks Angel ... but ...

    >>1. When viewing the Bug in DetailView mode, click "Select" on the "Accounts" sub panel and choose the appropriate account from the list.

This assumes you already have the bug created...

    >>2. If you are viewing an account in DetailView mode, clicking "Select" on the "Bugs" sub panel will allow you to pick a bug to assign to the account.

This means you have to go to the Accounts page first.

I wanted something a more simplified step (one step, one form, idiot-proof) in that they click Bug Tracker tab, click Create Bug and somehow associated the bug with an account/s right away.

    Thanks.

I don't believe there is a way of doing this without some customization work. You'd have to add the account field to the edit view somehow and then provide the user the ability to pick the account, as in other modules.

Take a look at using one of the other modules as a template for that work.
