Question How can I create an autoincrement field?

    Hi there,

Does anyone know how to create a field like this?
Is this kind of field posible to create in sugar?,

for example the field quote_num in the quotes module, I want to create a field
that behave like that one, I've looked into the files that mention it and I also
have looked in the layouts on the studio for that module but I can't figure out
how you make the field behave that way; would you give me a hand please to
recreate a field like the one I mention?!!

    Thank you for your help!!

    Cheers!!

Easiest way is to do it at MySQL server.

See here for more details: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/...increment.html

I just did this but get errors when I run a repair saying database does not agree with vardef

Are you getting the same issue?
