how can I delete all data

I downloaded the community version with sample data and I cant delete the employees and some other information how do I go about this?

You could always go into the database and do it.

Not to be too blunt about it but if you don't know how to access the database you'll probably do yourself more harm than good trying to delete just the demo data. Even if you know how to access the db it would be very time-consuming and frustrating trying to manually delete everything.

You're much better off doing a reinstall. I found when I was doing my initial Sugar tests it was good practice to do a number of installs so you understand your own build and recovery systems.

When you do a reinstall it will ask if you if you want to delete all current data. Just say yes and don't let it put in the demo data.

There are a lot of tables some of which hold system data that you don't want to be deleting and if you delete the wrong thing or don't delete everything you need to then you'll just end up with a fouled system and have constant issues. Get a book or do some research on the underlying systems if you're going to be the one managing them.

Also, in the future list the systems you are using. Makes answering questions much easier. I just add mine to my signature line.
