There simply must be a way to get my meetings on Sugar 4.5.1d to my Windows Mobile Smartphone! But how? What solutions have you come up with to accomplish this?

Hi there,
Check out our SugarForge Project of the Month, SugarMini, which says they'll have support for Windows mobile client soon.

Thanks for the link Susie - that's certainly something to keep an eye on. How about for the time being, however?
It looks like there's a product you can buy on SugarExchange that would fit your needs: Mobile Edge for SugarCRM.

Based on what a rep from Mobile Edge sent me, that product seems to only support Blackberry devices (though they list on their site that they also support Windows Mobile).
Worse, there is a $2,950 one time fee to setup the server side component and each user costs $195 per month. There is no way it's worth that much money.
EDIT: It's $195 per user per YEAR, not per MONTH. Sorry about that!

You might consider looking around on SugarForge.org and SugarExchange.com to see if there are other options available to you. You could also post an ad in the classifieds asking if someone would be willing to build something for you (if you didn't want to tackle this project yourself).

Take a look at Funambol. www.funambol.comOriginally Posted by sc123

Angel:
I had installed Funambol but didn't get much further because it requires a good deal of work to get setup and fully functional. I could not get my mobile phone to communicate via USB with it, and if I have to use the wireless minutes to communicate with it that sort of defeats the purpose (I could just use the web browser on the phone and access Sugar normally for that purpose).
Mobile Edge for SugarCRM is $195 per year, not per month. There is a set up fee. but that is one-time, and it is for the entire company. If you are an individual user, or say 5 or fewer BlackBerry users, SugarMini may be the way to go.
I edited the post - sorry about the mistake. Again, I'm using Windows Mobile - not Blackberry. SugarMini doesn't have a Windows Mobile version at this time. There simply MUST be another solution out there!Originally Posted by mobileedge1
