Default How can I remove panels like Leads or Bugs from Accounts?

I have several panels I'd like to remove from Accounts Detail View like Bugs, Leads, Direct, Cases, etc., and I can't figure out how to get rid of them. My last version of Sugar CE I did it, but I can't remember how now. The reason is that they confuse the users. I moved all the unused ones to the bottom and minimized them, but folks don't like seeing them there.

Also, I'd like to get rid of the tabs (Sales, Marketing, Support, Activities) and have the 4 remaining panels on one tab.

    Using CE 6.0

    Thanks!

Your first task requires that you go to admin->configure subpanels and drag all the unwanted panels to the right side. The one problem with this is that its a global remove, so it won't be for just the Accounts module. If you want to do just the accounts module, you need to go into modules/Accounts/metadata/subpaneldefs.php and comment out the modules you don't want. There should be an upgrade safe way of doing this (usually that comprises of copying the file to custom/modules/accounts/metadata/subpaneldefs.php and then doing the modifications there, but for some reason its not working for me).

I don't know how to do the second task; I don't know where those definitions are stored.

Thanks Robert for the reply. I think I found the way. Configure Tabs and Configure Subpanels in the Admin section. I still have a couple tabs left, but I'll deal with it. Good enough for now.

    Thanks again for the reply.
