How to change multiple assignments at once

I have a long list of accounts/leads that are assigned to a particular person and these accounts/leads need to be assigned to a different person(s). My task is to change each individual assignment which is going to take forever, I know there must be an easier way to do this.

Is there any bulk method to change all the assignments of one user over to another user?

Is there anyway I can assign half of this particular users accounts to one user and the other half to a different user?

If you go to the Users module (through Admin) and you deactivate a user (set a User's status to 'Inactive'), Sugar will ask you if you want to reassign all records currently in assignment by that user. This is a blanket one to one operation - you can only assign them from the newly inactive user to one other user.

Conversely, you can search for all records within a module that are assigned to your given user, then use the Mass Update option under the Actions menu in the ListView to assign as many records as you deem to whatever user you wish.
