How to Change Opportunity size in $1k?

SugarCRM Version 5.5.1RC (Build 1141) installed with FastStack Linux Installer 5.5.1R
Ubuntu 9.10

I have looked everywhere for a solution to this. I hope you can help.
I need to change the way the reports in the dashlets are read.
"Opportunity size in $1k"
Currently, they all read by the $1k (1000) increment and I need them to read those totals in $1 (1) increments.
Can you help me?

Ok, the answer is here but there are a lot more files to edit now than when that answer was written.
I changed amount_usdollar/1000 to amount_usdollar/1 in a whole bunch of files and that fixed the problem.
I don't know why that isn't an easily changeable option.
