This is expected behavior. The CE version of 6.0 only includes the Classic theme by default.

    Hi,

this is mostly because there aint no theme except the classic in the core installation of the Sugar6.
Dun worry nothing to worry about.

I think you can get all the theme's you want from SugarForge Site.

    http://www.sugarforge.org/content/downloads/#themes

I didnt see any theme here but thats the link that says for theme's :P

    Hope it is Helpful !!!

    Hello,

I find this behavior somewhat disappointing.

It's generally accepted in the software industry that one does not lose features when updating a product.

I'll assume this is an attempt to cripple the CE edition in an attempt to drive users to the commercial product.

    Sad.

I don't disagree that it is a problem, although I disagree with the conspiracy theories that somehow this is part of an evil plan by Sugar to force everyone to buy Pro or Enterprise.

The themes are not there because the old ones are not compatible. Thus, there are technical reasons for it. As I've stated elsewhere, I do fault Sugar for not making compatible equivalents available. Given the number of times that a new theme has been highlighted as a new feature upon the release of prior versions, it seems dumb to me that they wouldn't have taken the time to make compatible equivalents for this release.

Is there a guideline for developing new themes in CE 6.0? It should be possible to copy the existing theme and then modify it.
