Default How to Clone the Contact Module?

I would like to use the Contact Module for a Rolodex Contact List - these would be for non-customers but needed for our database. How would I clone the contacts module exactly but without automatically having the relationships? Like now the Contacts are forced to be related to the Accounts. But we may want to add any of the Rolodex Contacts to a Lead, Account , Project or Opportunity if needed for the sale or just leave them there stand alone as a person whom we do business like a Vendor or something.

I know the Zend Framework Portal module works with the Contacts so this would perfect if I could also use this with the Rolodex Contacts module. I think this would be a good asset to the sugar system.

    Thank you!

    M

I will certainly contact you as soon as I can get this site stabilized as is. Have a crash right now. [sigh]

    Thank you.
