Default how combine fields from >1 table in same page?

    Hi Brains Trust,

Editing company and contact information togethre requires staff to first edit and then save company info then repeat the process at contact level.

Is it possible to place company AND contact field on the same form so they can enter one form showing all relevenat fields ready in edit mode - edit both then hit save for the entire form....thus saving time.

My sugar provider says not. But I am not convinced!

I'm using lan based crm which allows this so excuse me if its such a dumb question in a web context.

    Cheers

    Dave

    Hello,

If you have specific fields of contact's module appeared in account's edit view, then it is possible. But if you need whole contact's edit form into account's edit, it too will be possible but will require much time and effort.
    Thumbs up.

    Thanks DavidBoris,

Can you point me in the direction to investigate further?

I will only want contact name/title/e-mail/phone fields viewed and editable at account level.

How would I go about this.

    Many thanks

    Dave
