How is "contacts_users" table updated?

Ok, I have data of users in my "users" table. Thus far, none of those users are associated with any accounts or accounts -- because when I logged in as one of the users, the Accounts and Contacts section are empty. How do I associate those users with an account?

Hello sugarhoney,

After quite a bit of digging, I found that it's used for the Sugar Outlook Plugin. As a User, you can decide whether or not to sync particular Contacts (to the plugin and back). The contacts_users table stores which Users want to sync which Contacts.

The data related to Assigned User, Created By User, etc. is stored in the Contact record itself (the contacts table).

However, I don't use outlook. I just happen to have users in the table and want to associate them with an account (that has contacts). Thus far, accounts are assigned to an admin. But I want it so that if I log in as a user (other than an admin), I can see different accounts.
