Question How can I sum based on radio (dropdown) selections

    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a new module able to count the probability of my opportunity.
I don't want to fill the "probability" field, I want to select some options and make it count for me and than I can easily update the probability and also give me a couple facilities.

I'm creating a new Module and making relationship between opportunities and my new module (one-one). I will ignore and hire the existent filed of probability.

After this, the next step is creating a drop down with the options, and showing these as a radio field.

My problem comes with the next step: When the user select all the options em "save", the Sugar must to calculate all the selections made by the user and store the result in another fields (unwritable) witch is gonna be my probability.

I've searched here a lot of topics and found some help to do my next step:

But I could't find how to count the result based on radio selections.

You can see a little print-screen of the radio options just to make easier to figure what I intend to do:

As you can see, each radio option has a defined percentage, and what I need to do is just make the sum.

Does anyone know how to help me?

    Thanks a lot,
    Ian

A logic hook would be a good way to do this: http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...le=Logic_Hooks
