Default How to create a Button to call a new register in a another module

Hello, I want to add a new button on opportunitie module that once clicked will create a new record in the contract module, further more, I want to automatically send the info related to the account to fill the fileds on this record created.

Any tips or a link to a threat in the forum or even a module that would do it or a file that I should look to start thinking how to do it would be really nice.

    Thanks
    Leo

    Hi Leo

    Have a look on modules/Leads/metadata/detailviewdefs.php
It defines the button "Convert Lead".
The action you are going to invoking by clicking on this button can do the logic you just mentioned.

By the way, a further version of DevToolKit will implement dynamic buttons which can perform such action.

    Cheers
