Heirarchy in the sense, suppose we have two roles sales manager and senior sales manager,
sales manager has to report senior sales manager. do we have any kind of heirarchy modules in sugar.

Hi!
In user Information (admin->user management->users) there is one field called report to , with this field you can create you organizational Hierarchy .

Basically this feature is more clear in sugarCRM pro , there in team management you will find that in team definition when you will select user , user's boss ( whom that user reports comes automatically )

In community there is no team mngt feature so only you can create your organization hierarchy ,

By Using CETeams - SugarCRM CE Teams For the Masses - http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/ceteams/ you can assign users to teams in a hierarchical manner.
Each team can be either a parent or a child to other teams.
By creating a tree like structure you can limit access to records depending on where in the team hierarchy the member is.
