How to create a relate to users field in studio

Hello, I need to create a relate field to user, but when I go to Studio > add new field > data type 'relate', I can not select the users module. Why?

I have seen that kind of field allover SugarCRM, por example in the callls modules. When you schedule a call, you can relate it to a user (asigned to)

Hi,

Make sure a relationship exists between this module and the user's module.
I had this problem once, and if you add this realationship it should work.

I had checked relationship, but I can not select the users' module, it isnt in the list. So I can not create the relationship.

I have looked into calls module relationships, and I havent see any relationship from this module with users one. But it really have a reltionship in 'asigned to' field.

Any idea?

create an empty file 'studio.php' and place it in modules\Users\metadata . Then go to studio and try creating a relate field for users. This should work.

So, extra question for bonus points:

i now want to poplutate this field with the assigned to users name when a new Opportunity is created, however the field does not exist in the workflow engine.

How do I make this happen?
