You will see a pencil and paper on the pages. Navigate to the contacts module. Click on advanced seach. click on the pen and paper icon.
Start editing!
Hope I could help.

Hi,
I tried to do this to add a field that is not currently searched (Cases - description). I followed the above instructions to add this to the advanced search, but it does not work. It appears to just refresh the page and clear the description text box in the advanced search. Can someone advise me if this is possible? If it is could you please provide instructions on how to do this.
Thanks.
Hi,
I don't understand what is your problem. After you click of the icon to edit the advanced search engine you will have to drag and drop the field.
After you exit the edit mode you can check it and see that it works.
Hi,
The edit bit works fine, its the actual search bit that does not.
I successfully added the field "Case Description" to the advanced search screen, but when I try to use the advanced search and enter a phrase to search for in the "Case Description" text entry box, and select search it does not perform a search. What appears to happen is current page appears to reload and clear the search phrase that I typed it, it does not perform any SQL lookup or anything.
Is there anything else I need to do besides updating the advance search fields to get the advanced search to actually search thoses new fields.
Thanks
EXCELLENT, it works very well. THANK YOU A LOT.
